耶穌與老子
老早就覺得福音書跟道德經的哲思極度相近，從兩者所使用的比喻 (如嬰兒孩童)、到其中兩者都刻意採用之似非而是的矛盾理則，相信對兩者都曾閱讀並思考過其意涵的人而言，也有可能跟我一樣會去想到它們之間的些許關聯，
今天去總圖找書的時候，無意間在架上讓我瞟到了這本 "Jesus and Lao Tzu."
每翻一面，左邊的雙數頁是福音書 (或聖經其他部份) 的引文，右邊的單數頁是相應的道德經摘錄。裡面有些比對是我在找到這本書之前自己就已經聯想到的，足見作者具有一定的程度、不是亂編的... 嘿嘿 
，像是出現在 pp. 10~11, 16~17, 136~137 的這幾對：
He who rules his spirit has won a greater victory than the taking of a city.

he who knows himself is wise
He who conquers others has power of muscles;

不過這樣的差異可能源自不同人對經典中抽象概念的主觀解讀與聯想、以及翻譯上的一些差池吧... (像是把 “無為” 翻成 "do nothing" 實在是跟無為的本意差得太遠了~)。
